Development Overview


The development team’s primary function is to create and deliver a sustainable pipeline of development projects for Centro’s Australasian portfolio. The team adds value by ensuring that redeveloped assets:

  • Provide the best possible trading environment for retailers;
  • Remain relevant within their retail hierarchy; and
  • Generate maximised total returns.

Developments must meet required hurdle return rates while at the same time providing development fee income for Centro’s services business.

Centro currently has approximately $200 million of Australian developments underway and approved as shown in the table below.
